Good afternoon Tiger families. Here are a few announcements for the week of August 31st.
We miss all of you and hope you are staying healthy! Our central office staff continues to monitor CDC, Tennessee Dept. of Health recommendations and data to determine our best mode of learning. Although this is not the way we hoped to start school, we feel it is beste feel it is best to continue online for the majority of our students and our highest needs students in the building a couple days each week. Hopefully the cases will begin to decrease and we can all be back in person soon!
During this time of online learning, you may experience the need for help at home with assignments. We have a free service that may help if you do not have access to your teacher, it is called Homework Hotline. You can find more information this week on our school website, Twitter and our Tigers at Home Facebook page.
If you are interested in camping, hiking, fishing, shooting bows and arrows, hanging out with friends, helping your neighbors and your community, roasting marshmallows over a campfire, eating s’mores, or shooting off rockets!?! If you want to do any or ALL of those items, then you should consider the CUB SCOUTS! They are having a joining event THIS upcoming Tuesday. Talk to your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, whoever takes care of you about wanting to join in on the FUN. More information may be found on our Tigers at Home Facebook page.
We will welcome our PreK and Kindergarten A groups to school in person tomorrow. We are very excited to see our students and feel their energy fill our school!
Below is a schedule of what to expect this week:
Monday – Kindergarten A group will attend Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday – Kindergarten B group will attend Wednesday and Thursday.
Thursday – This will be a packet pickup day for students in grades 1st through 5th. Pickup times are from 8 am – 5 pm at the front circle of the school. If you are unable to come during this time, please call the main office or your child’s teacher for a more convenient time.
Friday – there will be no school or online learning for students Friday or Monday in observance of Labor Day holiday.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school at 639.2751.
I hope you all have a good week and stay well!
