DHS launches P-EBT Program to Provide Extra Resources for Families to Buy Food
Tennessee Department of Human Services (DHS) understands just how important the meals children receive at our school are to families. DHS also understands the unexpected hardships families may have faced this school year during the days when those meals were not available due to virtual learning.
To help families, the DHS launched the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program to provide extra resources for families to buy food. This program is about to launch Round 3 to provide benefits backdated to October 2020 and continuing through May 2021 to eligible students.
