Effective Monday, Sept 28, GCS will begin an A/B Hybrid Schedule

Effective Monday, September 28th, all students who have chosen in-person learning will begin operating on an A/B Hybrid Schedule. Students will be divided into an “A” group and a “B” group. Individual schools will send a notification on Monday, Sept 14th alerting parents/guardians of the group to which students are assigned.

Students assigned to the “A” group will attend school in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays. Students assigned to the “B” group will attend school in-person on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students will continue to complete assignments and watch teacher posted videos online on days in which they are not scheduled to attend in-person.

Students and staff will follow the safety protocols outlined within our GCS Framework for Safe Reopening of Schools.

Given the current conditions within our community, we believe this plan provides the safest environment for students and staff while providing a quality educational experience. As a reminder, throughout the year plans may be altered for the safety of students and staff. Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of Greeneville City Schools as we navigate this global pandemic.
