Stephanie Rebuck Cox » Biography

Biography

Mrs. Rebuck has been a public school music educator in Tennessee since 2002.  She received her Bachelor of Music from Tennessee Tech University and her Master of Education from Union College in Barbourville, KY.  While at Tennessee Tech, she studied clarinet extensively as well as saxophone and wind conducting.   Besides performing as principal clarinetist of the Symphony Band and Wind Ensemble, she was a drum major, clarinet section leader, and member of the Bryan Symphony Orchestra.
 
Before working at Tusculum View, Stephanie taught music at Bulls Gap School for 15 years, where she was named "Teacher of the Year" in 2017.  Besides being a music educator, she actively performs professionally throughout the region.  She is the Co-Principal Clarinetist of The Johnson City Symphony Orchestra and Second Clarinetist of The Symphony of the Mountains.  
 
Mrs. Rebuck loves drinking coffee, exercising and traveling.  She currently resides in Kingsport with her husband and two fur babies!
