Congrats to our first two students this year to be Junior SRO of the Day. These students demonstrate the Tiger Character Attributes and GPD character qualities daily.
This recognition is awarded to students who stand out as leaders within our school community.
SRO Larry Gilbert came up with the idea last school year and developed the criteria for students to be nominated, which reflect both our Tiger Character traits and the qualities embodied by law enforcement officers. We are grateful to partner with the Greeneville Police Department to promote character, respect, and service to our community.

Congrats to Tusculum View's GCS Education Foundation Character Education Award recipients. Marlee and Toby were voted by their classmates as having exemplary character. Steve Ricker and Dalton Wade visited Tusculum View Fifth Grade as Overmountain Men. They told a true story, from a first-person perspective, of the battle of King's mountain that turned the tide in the south during the Revolutionary War.
The students got to see the way the Overmountain Men dressed, the way they navigated the terrain and how the battle unfolded that day. It was a wonderful day of learning our history in Tennessee.

Mrs. Angie’s 5th grade students researched and then wrote letters to colleges they may be interested in attending one day. After Toby wrote to Tusculum University, representatives from the university surprised his homeroom with a visit and a wagon full of gifts!
