Greeneville City Schools’ staff will return on Monday, October 14, 2024, for a day of professional development with students returning to school on a regular schedule on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Plans are in place, according to the health department guidelines for food service establishments, for the school cafeterias to safely provide breakfast and lunch each day. We will also provide bottled water to students each day until the boil water notice is lifted. In coordination with the Greene County EMA, there is a contingency plan to provide bottled water for an extended period of time should the boil water notice persist. If parents wish to send additional water for their students, please make sure the bottles are sealed and do not leak.
