Way to go, Tigers! These 3rd grade champs have been hard at work to earn certificates in their typing program!

Kaden's Closet will serve GCS students to honor Kaden Gunter:
We are proud of our former Tigers, Kaden's friends, for creating this closet to honor Kaden and his love for sports. He embodied love for others and was always willing to give to those around him. This ministry will continue that love and impact students across Greeneville! Please consider donating new and gently used sports equipment for students in need across our district.
Kaden was a Tusculum View Tiger and loved our school, Greeneville Middle, his peers, and being a Tiger and Greene Devil! Thank you to the Kaden's Closet team and all who give and help with this ministry!

Happy New Year from our PreK Team!

Our 2nd Grade Team wishes everyone a happy December and hopes you enjoy a Winter Break free from naughty, mischievous elves!

Merry Christmas to all our Tigers, from Santa and his Reindeer!

From past to present, what a blast! Our Kindergarten students stepped into history for their Long Ago Day.
They got a taste of the "good old days" with hands-on activities as they experienced life long ago, from making their own butter and crafting dolls, to playing with Lincoln Logs, writing with chalk and quills by candlelight, mailing letters, and more. Long Ago Day was full of new (old!) skills.

Congrats to all our grade level Leaders of the Month! Way to go, Tigers!

Third Grade took a field trip to Rural Resources. When they arrived, they divided into groups and rotated through many stations, visiting animals and other demonstrations. *Students saw rabbits, cows, and goats.
*Rush Bakshi showed green beans and okra and let students cut them open and look at the insides.
*Sarah Creutzinger had different food items students could use to either build a plant or an animal.
*Students also learned about about the food web and used yarn to demonstrate how each item is needed to complete the web, using vocabulary words like sun, producer, and consumer.
*Students visited a greenhouse and made a flower seed bomb they can plant in the spring to grow a small flower patch at their home.

These students were brave enough to accept the beware challenge and check out a "Read... if you DARE!" mystery book. Tigers are readers...and brave!
