The Girls' Soccer game scheduled for Monday, August 19th, has been canceled.
Football Results:
The GMS Varsity Devils won convincingly over the Davy Crockett Pioneers. Juelz Mann and Andres Bowman each caught touchdown passes from quarterback Hudson Quillen. Zaire Neal scored two rushing touchdowns alongside Hudson Quillen’s two rushing touchdowns. Ben Hansel scored his first varsity touchdown of his career on a five-yard run. Cohen Broyles caught two extra points.
The defense was again led in tackles by Justin Feezel. Ben Hansel recorded an interception. The final score was 42-8.
The JV Devils got their first win, beating the JV Pioneers 8 to 6.
GMS Soccer:
The JV Lady Devils lost to Tennessee Middle last night by a score of 5-0. Hadlee Hall had 3 saves.
The Varsity Lady Devils also came up short, losing to TN Middle 3-1. Kinsley Spradlen scored and Andrehina Moreno had the assist. Leia Alexander had 6 saves.
The Lady Devils are back in action again on Monday, Aug. 19th at home against Sullivan Central.

Lady Devils lost a hard-fought battle at Indian Trail 4-0. Leia Alexander had 3 saves and Hadlee Hall had 1 save splitting time in the net. The Lady Devils will be back at it again at TN Middle on Wednesday.

GMS Band Instrument Placement for Rising 6th Grade Families:

Our first full day of school is Tuesday, August 6th.
All 6th grade students and any NEW GMS students in 7th or 8th grade should plan to attend the abbreviated day on Friday, August 2nd from 7:40 AM-10:40 AM.
