About Mrs. Harmon

My name is Amanda Harmon and I have been teaching art for over 20 years. I am married to Joey Harmon and between us, we have two daughters, Tori and Maya and two sons, Jake and Griffin. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, traveling, exercising, going to games, concerts, and events, playing with my animals, and playing around with all sorts of creative outlets.

During art classes this year, we will be learning many skills including drawing, painting, cutting, printmaking, collaging, sculpting, and using our imaginations. We will be learning about art using the Tennessee Visual Arts Standards and learning through the following domains of visual arts: Create, Present, Respond, and Connect.

I fully believe that everyone is an artist, and I am looking forward to creating and learning with all the Tusculum View artists.
